Dr.Ron Bouffard
Dr Ron Bouffard grew up in Lewiston, Maine, attended Boston University for his undergraduate education and ended up Graduating Sum Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in June of 1995.
He began his practice on the Boothbay Peninsula in July of 1995 working under the guidance of Dr Thomas Augat in a small satellite office in Boothbay Center. In 1997, Dr. Ron purchased the practice from Dr. Tom and renamed the practice “The Boothbay Chiropractor”. In 2001, Dr Ron purchased the building located at 18 West Street and has made that his chiropractic office and residence.
Dr Ron practices the “Palmer Method” of chiropractic manipulation which consist of manual adjusting using Diversified, Gonstead and Drop Table adjusting. In addition to these techniques, Dr Ron also is certified as an Activator Methods practitioner and Cox Flexion/Distraction practitioner. In his search for continuing education, Dr Ron has maintained a level of interest in the use of nutrition and nutraceuticals and botanicals as a method of care for his patients.
He is a Board-Certified Chiropractic Internist and a Board -Certified Clinical Nutritionist. With these Board certifications, Dr Ron has a great working knowledge of physiology and looks to help patients get better by better understand how to feed the body to get optimum wellness. He considers regular adjustments, proper exercise and sleep and learning how to nourish the body to maximize its efficiency and ultimately maintain wellness to not rely heavily on medication. Dr Ron considers this a truly holistic approach to health and wellness.

Dr.Brady Fergola
Dr Brady is a Maine native having grown up in the foothills of Rumford. In his youth, he entertained himself with outdoor recreation of hunting, fishing and skiing. He also enjoyed playing sports in school such as football, baseball and basketball. In college he played rugby and occasionally still suits up to play with a local men’s club out of central Maine.
He attended The University of Maine at Orono where he attained his Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training. After completing his clinical rotations, he began an internship with Dr Ric Bruns, D.C., of Bangor where he developed his interest in the chiropractic profession. He attended Logan University in St. Louis, Missouri where he recently graduated with his Doctorate in Chiropractic. While at Logan University, he attended many post graduate courses on performance care and rehabilitation to compliment his chiropractic studies. Dr Brady, being an athlete himself, knows the demands that sports place on your body and is tailoring his practice to help his patients achieve their health and fitness goals.
Dr Brady believes that functional and proper movement helps everyone stay active, pain-free and doing what they love to do. He takes pride in his ability to observe patients from a global standpoint, assess them, and work through a proper treatment plan. His philosophy of practice is heavily evidence based assessment and treatment that is redefining the physical medicine world. He believes in the ability to live pain free for the best quality of life while maximizing performance and minimizing injury.
Dr Brady is excited to be joining the office of The Boothbay Chiropractor. With his knowledge of biomechanics and human movement, and his passion for helping people to perform better, he is looking forward to bringing his experience and knowledge to the active community of Boothbay Harbor.
